The Ultimate Summer Pop Up: London, Ecceleston Yards

Summer really is the greatest time of the year: the sun’s out (hopefully), everyone’s happy, and London summer pop-ups start appearing everywhere around the city, as a wave of fresh retail concepts attract millennial in-store traffic with personalisation and experience-focused strategies.

But our favourite this year has to be The Ultimate Summer Pop Up shop, which offers a curated edit of summer essentials from luxury lifestyle brands including Sixty Ninety, Alexandra Miro, Evarae, and The X Cartel. Open now through to autumn, the temporary space is exclusively stocking the brand’s S/S 2018 women’s collections, alongside limited-edition product exclusives that won’t be found anywhere else.

Located in the heart of Covent Garden’s Eccleston Yards, the pop-up is housing a range of exclusive brand and best-selling summer items. Getting shoppers holiday ready, beachwear essentials on offer include relaxed shirts, casual denim and breezy sundresses. What’s more, the pop-up is the only retailer in the UK to stock brands such as Silou London’s entire summer range.

Exclusive to the pop-up store are some of the summer’s key trends. Including the eco-friendly brand Sixtey Ninety’s fast-selling camo-green bikini and PAMMA London’s recycled fabric athleisure tanks and sustainable sportswear. Other summer essentials include printed resortwear from Paloma Blue and Kalita’s free-flowing maxi dresses for the modern gypsy.

Nestled amongst the primarily conscious and sustainable offerings, you’ll also find Maison Ves’ Instagram-worthy marbled candles and a selection of niches fragrances and beauty products from brands like Alba Botanics. Other key pieces at the pop-up also include London-based label Yosuzi’s printed raffia bags and Dondoks Paris’ handmade leather sandals. Celebrity and blogger favourite Tea and Tequila Trading are also stocked, with a range of the label’s tongue-in-cheek lobster, flamingo and avocado beaded clutches.

Cloe Cassandro’s silk and linen rompers and dresses are also must-have items for the summer season, while relaxed denim by Caslazur rounds out the collections on show – think classic cut-offs and embroidered chambray shirts.

The new hub for London’s wellness and beauty junkies, the pop-up has also collaborated with Raw Press, offering a range of exclusive beach-body appropriate snacks and fresh juices. Which is no wonder then, that the shop is often frequented by blogger babes and Chelsea socialites. Its rails have become a favourite of Lily Fortesque, Tabitha Willett and Phoebe Greencare and one-off events through the summer months have drawn in the stars from Made In Chelsea.

All within the theme of becoming your best beach-ready self, shoppers can also sign up to attend yoga classes with Silou London, meditation practices with Anoushka Florence from the Goddess Space and life drawing classes with the artist Bella Franks. Keep your eyes peeled as these are still ongoing and advertised on the pop-up’s Instagram.

Even now that we enter the last days of summer and September’s dark, chilly nights begin to creep in, we can’t help but thank  TUSPU for making us feel – even if for an afternoon like summer can last forever.
